As for myself, I have always had an interest in art. As a young child, my late father showed me around the galleries and museums of Copenhagen where I got my early inspiration. By the time I was 10, I was usually to be found at weekends, at one or another of the museums sketching the statues and some of the interesting exhibits. On cold, wet days in the winter, I worked on my woodcarvings at home.

After I left school I studied art, firstly in my home town of Copenhagen and later in London at the School of Art in Regent Street where I met my late husband. Art is a tough career to get started, so my husband and I went on to develop a successful fashion business, initially in Copenhagen and then in Spain, where I still live.

I always missed my art and gradually a fruitful hobby became what is now a full time business. As you can see, my pictures and collages are either impressionist or totally abstract.
